I believe I have spent my entire life looking for the best in myself and in others. My experience tells me that when people are given the space and permission to heal, they will do so, beautifully.
It brings me joy to support your self-healing, both as an individual and in your relationships.
My training includes a BA in International Studies from Hofstra University in New York, Yoga Teacher Certification from Nosara Institute/Omega Institute in New York, a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from Florida Atlantic University, and a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University in Denver. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
I have additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Couple Therapy, The Crucible and Internal Family Systems therapy.
I currently live in beautiful Ouray, CO with my husband and son.
"Because of my work with Kate, I am more self aware, self-accepting, and able to experience vulnerability and intimacy with my partner."
"Working with Kate, I learned to relax and accept my life, good and bad; I learned to focus on the things I could positively change for myself...I've become again the self-reliant, motivated and happier person people knew I always was". -
"Kate made me feel so comfortable, to this day I feel just fine telling her things I have never told anyone. She is very calming and I feel like she is someone who really cares."
